Shamita Shetty, Poonam Dhillon in Big Boss 3

Shilpa Shetty found international fame with the UK based show Big Brother. And now her younger sister Shamita will step into the world of reality television with Bigg Boss [ Images ].

The third season of the popular reality show will be high on glamour with Shetty's housemates like yesteryear's actress Poonam Dhillon and item girl Sherlyn Chopra [ Images ].

The show will air from October 4 on Colors.

It has already grabbed headlines, thanks to its superstar host Amitabh Bachchan.

While the channel has gone to great length to keep the names of the housemates a secret, sources told PTI that Shamita Shetty [ Images ], Poonam Dhillon, director-actor Kamal Khan of Desh Drohi fame and Vindu, the son of actor-wrestler Dara Singh will be a part of the show.

The other names doing the rounds are of Aditya Pancholi and yesteryear villain Punit Issar.

Reports suggest that German model Claudia Ciesla [ Images ] will also be a part of the show.

The programme revolves around 14 celebrities, who are locked up in a house without any communication with the world outside, surrounded by cameras watching their every move. The show has earlier featured item girls Rakhi Sawant [ Images ], Payal Rohtagi, Sambhavna Seth [ Images ], Rahul Roy, Rahul Mahajan [ Images ], Ravi Kishan and Monica Bedi [ Images ].
