James Bond has had watches with saws, garrottes, lasers and grappling hooks, but even he might be green with gadget envy at the sight of this Jaeger-LeCoultre - especially as it works with an Aston Martin.
A £21,850 optional extra with the forthcoming four-door Rapide model, the titaniumandpink-gold AMVOX2 Rapide Transponder will enable wearers to lock or unlock their car doors by simply touching the sapphire-crystal face.
Sadly, due to Bond's contract with Omega, it's unlikely he'll ever get to use one...

Touch the area between eight and nine o'clock to unlock your Rapide's doors, and the area on the opposite side to lock them. Touch both together and the car's lights will flash - to help you find it, not so you can show off...
Like the similar AMVOX2 DBS Transponder - for owners of the Aston Martin DBS - the Rapide watch also offers chronograph functionality. To operate the chronograph, you press down on the glass at 12 or six o'clock (making it tilt).
The transponder module is actually half the size of the one in the Rapide's key. To avoid any adverse effects on the watch movement, the metal antenna is positioned on the inside of the glass, curving around the face between four and eight o'clock.
