BANGALORE: Prabhjit Singh, an ex-soldier of the Indian Army is on an all-India cycling expedition with an inspiring message “Nothing is Impossible”.The soldier who lost his left arm and foot in an accident is on a nation wide tour to spread the message of brotherhood and inspire people to overcome difficult circumstances through will power.The Army at the Madras Engineering Group & Centre felicitated the ex-soldier.Brigadier RN Mittal, Commandant MEG & Centre commended the soldier for his adventurous spirit, courage and inspiring message.A resident of Ambala in Haryana, Prabhjit Singh joined the Indian army in 1984 and was commissioned in the J & K Rifles but could serve only for five years due to a railway accident where he lost his left arm and foot.Aged 41, he began this journey on January 19 this year and has been through 18 states till now. He plans to go to Tamil Nadu from here. He has already cycled 9546 km, cycling for 939 hours over 65 days.Speaking to reporters he said that though it has been a hard and arduous journey for him through difficult terrains and weather, he intends to show that despite being physically challenged, with grit and determination one could achieve anything.
